Kumho Tire Partnership: NBA All-Star Integration
During the 2015 NBA All Star Game, Kuhmo Tire partnered with the NBA for an onsite activation during NYC All Star Weekend and debuted a national advertising campaign featuring numerous NBA Stars.
The 360 degree activation ran across all mediums: OOH - Times Square Above and Below Ground Takeovers; Social Player Sponsorships and over a $2 Million+ paid digital and broadcast media support for the campaign. In addition to media support, there was a special grand prize that fans could attempt to win by tagging Kumho and the NBA on social media: Playing NY’s own Carmelo Anthony in a game of HORSE during All Star Weekend.
With over 8 million video views, countless PR mentions and hundreds of thousands of fans tagging Kumho throughout the event, it was a smashing success for the Official Tire of the NBA.
